Sometimes you understand exactly why you feel a certain way, yet the emotional response remains. A memory still carries weight. A trigger still creates tension. A thought still brings you back to the same uncomfortable place.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), often called “tapping,” is a complementary mind-body practice that combines focused attention on thoughts or emotions with gentle tapping on specific points of the body. I use EFT as part of a personalized approach to help you acknowledge difficult emotional responses, develop greater awareness, and create space for a calmer relationship with what you are experiencing.
EFT can provide a structured way to engage with emotions rather than continually pushing them aside. Depending on your individual needs, sessions may focus on:
There is no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what needs to change. We begin with what you are experiencing and work from there.
Emotional experiences can involve both psychological and physical responses. You may notice tension, restlessness, changes in breathing, or other bodily sensations alongside difficult thoughts and emotions. EFT provides a practical mind-body exercise for bringing intentional attention to that experience.
As a Registered Nurse and holistic practitioner, I approach EFT as complementary support rather than a substitute for appropriate medical or mental health care. Depending on your goals, I may also incorporate hypnotherapy, Reiki, Neuromodulation Technique (NMT), and other holistic approaches to create an experience centered around you as a whole person.
EFT, commonly known as tapping, combines focused attention on a thought, feeling, or concern with gentle fingertip tapping on specific points of the body.
I guide you through identifying what you would like to focus on and through the tapping sequence while you remain actively involved and aware throughout the process.
EFT may be used as a complementary technique for stress, emotional triggers, fears, difficult feelings, recurring thought patterns, and general emotional well-being.
